بنیاد روشنفکری اینست که انسان آگاه باشد که همیشه دچار اشتباه میشود. اشتباه کردن ، پیایندآنست که دو چیز در زندگی، شبیه همند. حقیقت و باطل، راست و دروغ، خوب وبد، شبیه هم میشوند. هیچ دروغی نیست که خودش را بلافاصله شبیه راست نسازد. هیچ حقیقتی نیست که بلافاصله در کنارش «شبه حقیقت» سبز نشود. هیچ آزادی نیست که شبه آزادی، با آن سبزنشود. شبه حقیقت و شبه آزادی و شبه راستی را هیچگاه نمیشود از پیدایش حقیقت و آزادی و راستی، جدا ساخت. پیدایش حقیقت و آزادی و راستی، برای انسان، آذرخشی و ناگهانی و آنیست، ولی حقیقت و آزادی و راستی، همیشه، «وسیله اغراض قدرتخواهان و منفعت جویان» میگردد، و مارا گرفتار اشتباه میکند. اینست که انسان، فقط ناگهانی و بیگاه، آذر خشگونه میتواند بیدار شود، و خود را از این «مشابه ها» نجات بدهد. ما همیشه در اجتماع، در دام شبه حقیقتی زندگی میکنیم که بوسیله قدرتخواهان و منفعت جویان ساخته شده اند. آزادی، پیایند بینشها و روشنیهای آذرخشگونه در اجتماعست که هنوز ندرخشیده، از قدرتخواهان و منفعت جویان، تاریک ساخته میشوند. و أخوند و کشیش و هاخام و موبد، خطر ناکترین قدرتخواهان هستند که خودرا برضد قدرت مینمایند. روشنفکری، بیداربودن انسان در برابر این شباهتهاست.

The foundation of intellectualism is that man is aware that he always makes mistakes. “Making a mistake” comprises the assumption and reasoning that two things in life are similar.
Truth and falsehood, truth and lies, good and bad, become similar.
There is no lie that does not immediately make itself look like the truth. There is no truth that is not immediately surrounded by “pseudo-truth”. There is no freedom with which pseudo-freedom does not grow. Pseudo-truth, pseudo-freedom, and pseudo-right can never be separated from the emergence of truth, freedom, and rightness.
The emergence of truth, freedom, and rightness is a lightning bolt for humans, but truth, freedom, and rightness always become a “means for the purposes of those who seek power and gain” and leave us in the wrong (or seemingly make us err).
And that is that anyone can wake up suddenly and by chance, and save himself from these “similarities”.
We always live in the community, in the trap of pseudo-truth made by those who seek power and profit.
Freedom is the result of lightning-like insights and lights in the society that have not yet shone and are made dark by the power-seekers and profit-seekers.
And the akhund, the cleric, the rabbi, and the mubed are the most dangerous power seekers when they place themselves against the power, when they oppose power.
Enlightenment is an individual’s awakening to these similarities.
